BrmmTrmm

BrmmTrmm was a temprorary in-situ installation beneath the mining tower of the coal mine Teutoburgia in Herne.

It contributed to the light- and sound arts event Licht An!

Four steel plates (100x200cm), with varying thickness, were hang up at the sides of the tower.

The Kirschenbrett was placed centrally, however did not serve as synthesizer this time but evoked vibrations in the plates which resulted in sound.

The spheric floating sounds and the deep vibrations fill the zone beneath the mining tower as soon as the hand is placed close to the surface of the `Kirschenbrett´.
